Requesting Onyx Support through Learner Support Fund (LSF)

If you feel you need additional support to help you engage fully with your course or apprenticeship, you can ask for Onyx Support to deliver your non-medical help through Learner Support Fund (LSF).

How to request Onyx Support

  1. Speak to your training provider
    Let your training provider or learner support team know that you need additional support and that you would like Onyx Support to be considered as your NMH provider.

  2. LSF eligibility and assessment
    Your provider will check your eligibility for LSF and arrange any required assessment or review of support needs (this is not carried out by Onyx).

  3. Referral to Onyx Support
    If approved, your provider will refer you to Onyx Support to deliver the agreed support.

  • Check emails or letters from your training provider or apprenticeship team, or

  • Contact your college, university, or training provider’s learner support team directly.
